EACS FFA students teach kindergarteners about farm life

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Students from Woodlan Junior/Senior High School and Heritage Junior/Senior High School in the Future Farmers of America (FFA) organization are teaching local kindergarteners about farm life.
FFA students from Woodlan Junior/Senior High School and Heritage Junior/Senior High School have spent this Thursday and Friday guiding a total of 580 local kindergarteners through 16 stations that explain various agricultural concepts.
East Allen County Schools say this tradition has been around since 1972, enabling both local kindergarteners and FFA students at Woodlan Junior/Senior High School and Heritage Junior/Senior High School with an educational opportunity.
