A super PAC with close ties to former Gov. Chris Christie has spent $478,820 since June 30 on an ad campaign attacking Democratic U.S. Senator Bob Menendez, according to reports filed with the Federal Election Commission.

Integrity NJ reports disbursements of $360,315 to Pinpoint Media for the placement of TV ads, and $87,000 to Advictory for digital ads.  The super PAC also paid $31,005 to Mottola Consulting for production of the ads.

The super PAC is run by Phil Cox and Pete Sheridan, both of whom have close ties to Christie.

Cox, the group’s chairman and senior advisor, was executive director of the Republican Governors Association when Christie was chairman of the group. He also headed America Leads, a super PAC founded to back Christie’s 2016 presidential run.

Pinpoint Media is run by Meredith Morton, who is also affiliated with Cox’s consulting firm and placed the media fro Christie’s 2016 super PAC.

Sheridan, formerly the executive director of the New Jersey GOP, worked on both of Christie’s gubernatorial campaigns and served on Christie’s transition out of the governorship. Sheridan is the PAC’s executive director.

The Super PAC had filed their 2nd quarter FEC reports with $2,125,000 raised and $1,197,001 cash-on-hand.  The latest reports, filed on August 3-4, reflect no additional revenue, bringing the Integrity NJ warchest to about $718,000.
